The Bridge, Inc., is a nonprofit, community based youth and family service agency that has been helping children and families in the Essex County area since 1971. Originally established to help young people who were experiencing difficulty with alcohol and drug dependence, today, the agency has broadened its focus to include a variety of services for young people and their families. Thirty years later, we continue to offer services that share a common mission of providing counseling and substance abuse services that are designed to strengthen and support the family and promote the personal growth of children, adolescents, adults and seniors.
