The
primary purpose of this program is to prevent the development of more
serious substance abuse problems in adolescents, ages14 to 18, living in
Northwest Essex County. The services include:
- Comprehensive evaluation/psychosocial
assessment
- Urine Screening
- Family education and counseling
- Stress management and
relaxation/coping techniques
- Communication skills
- Conflict resolution
- Problem solving and decision making
- Focused group/individual counseling

is Eligible: |
Adolescents
appropriate for this type of program are either in need of aftercare
following residential treatment, or whose substance abuse and related
issues are significant enough to warrant more intensive intervention. |
