The
goal of the Family Crisis Intervention Program is to provide short-term
crisis intervention services to referred juveniles and families to
stabilize the current crisis, divert the case from family court and
reduce the risk of recurring crises. Services include:
- Family assessment of the crisis
- Short term counseling
- Information and referral to community
resources

Juveniles from Essex County
who are experiencing behavioral crisis and in need of immediate
services. |
| Referrals: |
Referrals
can come from parents, schools, police, family court, other mental
health and social service providers. Juveniles may also refer
themselves and their families |

Program is funded through a grant from Essex County. |
